Inspired by a four season garden statue: Spring. Cast iron figure, depicting the vibrant paraphernalia of the four seasons. Spring is expressed in a figure of a putto with a radiant promise of sun after a long winter, holding delicate ears of corn inter-woven with her curls. In her arms she clasps a golden bundle of freshly scythed corn.
The figure stands on its orriginal 19th century base.
